Personal Postmortem

What went right?
I think what went right has been getting the stuff that I was asked to get done was getting done in time and had exceeded expectations. I was satisfied that the backend systems that I had developed is such an integral part of the game. Whenever someone asks me to do something, I was able to get the request done as soon as I was able to get to my laptop.

What went wrong?
Communication on my side has been a little below recently, sometimes I just stay quiet for the entire meeting. I have missed 2 instances of daily scrum which is very important when we are all working remote and missing that face to face meeting.

What did I learn?
I learned a lot on the importance of understanding each other and the aspect of communicating progress. It is important to know what is happening and especially understanding the needs of teammates. Whenever there is a request, the request is a bug and knowing that bug needs to be fixed right away. If I don’t have my channels up, I won’t be able to work on said bugs and would setback on the other developers because they would have to wait until I am done so they can continue.
